Reducing use of agricultural and lawn chemicals may help protect the next generation in addition to helping bumblebees, butterflies, and ocean life. Increased rates of neurological conditions have been linked to living closer to agricultural areas that are treated with herbicides and pesticides. Other health conditions in children and adults may also be more likely to occur when living near agricultural areas.
