How can we be happy in bad circumstances? It is acceptance - not being happy about the bad, but also seeing and being happy about the good things. The second half of this post has links to an academic paper that I am working on, and a post with links to my social media accounts. Connection is healing. My latest work is on SubStack and some is copied on transcendingsquare.com also. My latest post is about an academic paper that I have been working on - the current draft is too long and too large in scope. The post is a rough plan for modifying what I have written.

Pomegranate and other nutrients and phytonutrient foods can help reduce allergy/immune mast cells from releasing histamine and reduce inflammation that causes pain. Stopping use of foods or activities that cause inflammation and mast cell degranulation would also help, likely even more.
Pain is a signal that something is wrong, the body wants you to stop something or start something else, because the status quo is dysfunctional. Pain is not a mistake, it is a message. Modern life is inflammatory - we are setting ourselves on fire metaphorically with our diet and lifestyles. Change is possible but it likely includes stopping some old favorites. My paper helps identify activities and foods that may be triggers for mast cell degranulation and increased pain from histamine and inflammation. Pomegranate peel is very effective and the fruit also for inhibiting mast cell degranulation and improving the anxiety or excitability that can occur with histamine excess.
